smokey start

just recently my 2.4 has started smoking a lot on start up, its fine when its warm just first thing in the morning,,,also it seems like batteries are flat very slow turning over checked voltage and both batteries are saying 12.5 volts ????????????

need more info mate
check ya air filter is clean and no air is being suck in around ya turbo and air box
spray it with wd40 while its running then rev softly
and if there is any air being sucked in the wd40 will make aloud sucking noise
other than that need abit more infor
and how bad is it
is it white smoke? or black?

its a grey/white smoke on stat up and it misses a lot,,,if i rev it a cloud of smoke comes but then its fine if i dont rev it it misses and smokes for a few seconds then is fine ???

ya can try some injector cleaner that ya pop in the tank
or ya glow plugs may be a bit poor
if its a bit bad that is
i know mine smokes on start up but not allways if its been stud fr a few days
but it clears in seconds
i have allways thought of it has normal
but i may be wrong
iam not that car clued up

has for it turning slow when starting
get some mate to put some jump leads on and see if its still slow turning over

have a new set of heater plugs and a set of re con injectors off my old surf i will try ,,, if that cures it i will let you know ...
