auto to manual swap?

hi guys,im a mechanic but will be the first to admit i know little about hilux's, a friend of mine wants me to swap his auto to manual, we have a donor car so have all the parts we would need. here are the details
his hilux- 1993 k-reg 2.4 turbo diesel 4x4 ssr-x? automatic
donor vehicle - limited edition 3dr 1990 2.4 td 4x4 also( not 100% sure as havent seen it yet.

question is, how easy would it be to do, what extras would i need to change other than just the box, if it will swap atall that is. any help would be much appreciated guys, thanks in advance

i do know there is a ecu for a auto and one for the manual so i would say they would need to be swapped and any wiring that goes to the ecus changed if needed to.

i take it i would also need clutch etc?
im in penryn bud, i see your in camborne, the chap who owns it lives in helston, picked up the 3dr manual for £100 with hydrraulic tappet gone or something? dont really want to take on the job if its going to be a pain in the bum.

not sure if it will make a difference aswell but the early 2.4 had mechanical fuel pumps and the later 2.4's had electronic fuel pumps.The clutch would have to be changed aswell.
There may well be other parts to be swapped over aswell.
I think Blizzard in Spain did a write up on this same conversion.I'll see if i can find the thread and post it here for you
