  • cv joint screwed, help please.

hi all. been some time since i have been on ere, hope you are all good, anyway!!
My cv joint is knackered need a replacement, so a few facts please, how much roughly to buy and what do i have to do.
i have a 2" sus lift so i cant pull the shaft straight out so do i have to take the whole wishbone section lot apart.

also im thinking of getting freewheeling hubs so should i wait and do them all at the same time?

    thanks all

    thanks all

i have tried to use a 2nd jack under the wishbone bit and it still didnt work, if you remember i have really stiff sus so there's not much movement.
i cant wait until i have some soft sus and a smooth ride.

You could undo some of the tension on the torsion bar. If you measure how much the adjuster screw pokes through the nut before you start it's easy enough to put it back when you've finished.
