Valve guides

When replacing valve guides on a head, should they be pressed in / out or knocked in / out with a hammer. Think I'll get a special adaper made on a lathe to fit into the guides to push them out / in.

Also, who makes the valve guides for Toyota? Taiho? I've got a set by 'Sun' valve guides, but I'm not sure if these are the ones Toyota uses.

definately pressed in.not knocked in with a hammer.ive even frozen them in the past and then pressed them in.
