Need help,
Have recently purchased a hilux surf 2.4td auto import,wanted it to tow caravan.Towed van from Wales to Western Supermare,no probs.All the way back home,7 miles from home had a slow stiff climb,parked up outside house found trail of oil up road and a oil pouring from bell housing part of gearbox.Let it cool down topped up gearbox oil drove to mates house no leak,used it back and forth to work no leak.Towed again last weekend,no probs there same hill on way back same result oil all over floor.Has anybody got any ideas of cause and poss fix.
