Advice Needed

Did a clean up on the drivers side caliper today and it did the trick - it feels a lot quicker and easier to drive! However, now the rear wheel (passenger side) is locking up and skids when I brake, along with this the hand brake light on is staying on? Have I missed something, could it be air in the brake line? Has this happen to anyone? Any advice welcome!

Hi raven,

H/B light is due to low brake fluid.
Bleed both rear brakes to ballance
rear brakes, bleed the system properly.

The rear brakes are self adjusting.
Pull the handbrake on a few times to adjust the shoes.

The Handbrake light indicates several things....
Low brake fluid.
Vacuum loss in the reservoir next to the servo.
Handbrake on (Obviously).

The float switch in the fluid reservoir can sometimes stick giving a false low level reading too.

Hi Rav,

N/S is near side, thats passenger side (nearest the kerb)
O/S is drivers side. Allways start bleeding at the wheel
furthest from the master cylinder and get closer as you
complete each wheel, keep the fluid res full all the time.
