hi guys i have a 1992 surf with the 2.4 td wit an oil leak cart find it ant tips or where you might get regula leeks making a mess of the road mant thanks john

Best thing is to remove the bash plate, soak the (warm not hot) engine with degreaser and leave for 15 mins. Jetwash all the gunk off and then have a look a couple of days later. You should be able to see where the leak is coming from.

Front crank seal and rear crank seal are pretty common places, as is leaking from the back of the rocker cover.
