Attempted theft

Hi Guys,

anyone know if I can still drive my 3rd gen surf after somone tried to steal it and smashed the ignition barrel, is there an immobiliser and will it stop me getting it home if I use the proverbial screwdriver to turn the iginition barrel?

Should be OK as long as steering lock does not come on whilst driving , that would not be good . Best get recovered to secure premises and call Insurance Co to get it fixed .

dont drive,even if steering lock doesn't feel "on" it can drop in at any time
