as you may or may not know i snapped a cam belt towing a trailer tent up kirkstone pass... a very steep hill in the lakes lol well after replacing belt and valves ect,,, i found it was kicking a bit of water out of header...on way to work yesterday the gauge hit red the hose went pop and the engine went dead lol now i have got a mate with a sweet manual but the body is shot ,,is it worth me transfering my auto into a manual

Sounds like the head's gone. Either swap the heads or just drive the manual.
