4wd gets on my nervs

Hi, 2.4 auto, selecting Low,no problems.Selecting 4H,stays engaged till I get to the first corner or hit a bump and pops out.(I'm using 4x4 only on loose terain) If I keep the button on lever pressed down,stays engaged no matter what. I can't drive around in snow keeping my hand on the button.Any ideas? Thank you

Sounds like the button is faulty. start by testing it there

Could you tell me please if should hear or feel any clicking sound when I press the button,as I don,t feel anything now,it feels like is working like contact switch ,as you got them on the old fridges. Thank you
