I have, I picked a 97 4runner up off ebay for £730. Is there anything you can do to get more power from it (without fitting a turbo)

vince you been deleting posts again.nothing wrong chap just wanted to see how rare they are against say a two door,every one though they were quite rare ,turns out theres quite a few about.so just wanting to see how many 2.8s there are out there.






as for the power question,there is a way increase the fuelling at the pump.same as the 2.4.but do it in quarter turn increments then take it for a drive, you dont want to much black smoke,remember power equals an increase in fuel consumption,oh and its a snail and always will be so dont expect it to run like a ferrari.
