well then I thought today maybe I shud clean some mud of the engine and have a proper look...
and he ho I found the problem.... (Well Russ found it as I was in the truck starting it up....)
My crank shaft pully is buggered....
oops....
being held together by the belts..... about 1 inch apart lol not good...
So new pully..... £110
D@mn....
So what now...?
I can get a pully and then spend a day in my mates garage fitting it and while I am at it I shud do all belts including the cambelt too I think....
all the other belts I still have.....
So that be about £110+vat+postage+£60ish+vat+po stage for the cambelt kit and whatever problems I might find....
Or shud I get another truck and get this one v8-ed at some time..... Altho I do not really have enough money for another truck...
any ideas? anyone?
