central locking

can anyone tell me why the central locking system will only lock and not unlock but will in inside from the switch.i did notice the lock seemed to get
slower then stoped .can it be repaired or do i buy another switch. many thanks for any help on this little prob

Could be the motor on the drivers door failing, check its not catching anything they can be replaced.
