Novice 2.4 Owner

Hi Folks,

Can You Help With My 2.4.
I Think My Cylinder Head Is On Its Last Legs.

I Start Her Up And Im Lost In A Cload Of White Smoke, On A Cold Day It Take Alot Of Turning The Engine To Get It To Start.

Looks Like Im Gona Need Buy A Replacement, Can Anyone Tell Me If A 3.0l Engine Would Fit Into The 2.4 And What Things I Would Need To Change.



I Have Replaced The Starter, Altenator, Cv Jounts, Wheel Bearings, Tyers, Timing Belt, Fan Belts, Water Pump,

I love my dive buggy and if i need to Get A Replacemnt Engine THE 3.0 Ltr Might Be A Bit Easyer On The Pocket

Sounds more like shagged glowplugs or glowplug fuse than head, unless it is losing water?

the 3.0l isnt as easy as you think to swap over as you need the complete wiring loom,ecu and the engine.If you were gonna do a swap you may as well go for a v8 and have done with it
