  • Remove and refit starter motor...

    Guys I am sorry but I cannot find the thread for removing and fitting a starter motor for a 2.4. Looks like its going to be a pain the ass but does anyone have any tips etc...
    How can I be lost when I've got no where to go

                    Cheers matey - 'a few daylight hours' oh well thats going to be fun then. Are the 3ltrs the same - I searched here for ages an saw that but thought as he said it was for a 3ltr they were diff (or am I just being dumb here)

                      As I understand it 3.0l are not the same.... there easier than 2.4's without body lift !!!!

                      There's always a Payback .... Don't expect a warning !!!!!

                          Now I am worried - I am sure my manifold is on the drivers side an starer on tuther. This was for a 2.4 Surf.....

                              Your starter will be on the passenger side of the engine, down underneath the throttle housing/inlet manifold and fuel filter, the same as in that link.

                              The exhaust manifold is on the driver's side.
