Hi there,when i put the ignition on the needle goes up a quarter and after 5 seconds goes down again.I grounded the sender wire and the needle goes up to 3 quarters but very very slowly.It takes about 30 seconds to get to 3 quarters,but it stays there as long as the wire is grounded.I thought when you ground the wire the needle should go all the way up instantly. Is my gauge any good? Thanks ( 2.4 surf 1993)
