  • Rad Cap & stat

Is there a huge difference in quality between what roughtrax and milners offer????
    Roughtrax Cap £7 Stat £15.75
    Milners Cap £5 Stat £7.50

I need a load of bits for a major service/sort out so i was comparing the two for prices, I already know roughtrax has brilliant delivery and customer service, so are there major differences in the product

Anywhere else i should be checking for prices????

Heres the list i'm working to at present......

    Front brake pads
    Rear shoes
    Brake fluid
    Engine oil
    oil filter
    fuel filter
    air filter
    rad cap
    stat
    red coolant
    braided brake hoses
    extended diff breathers
    replacement grease nipples
    front shocks
    rear shocks
    LC springs
    BJ spacers
    FW hubs
    Alternator / ac belts
    Glow plugs
    Rad top hose

    All help gratefully accepted.

the Roughtrax stat i believe is a genuine Toyota part.

When it comes to something like that i'd go with Roughtrax all the way.

Not sure they were too short for my first gen .....you will need to speak to barry

cannot rember how much atf fluid and the atf sump needs instant gasket if you are removing and cleaning the filter if not just a plug and washer

Managed to get the use of my mates local workshop for tomorow, so priority job is new pads, new shoes, extended braided brake hoses and new fluid.
If i get time i'll replace the ATF fluid too.

Any tips from those who have done these jobs would be graetly appreciated!
( as i am certainly no muckynik)
