Almost done the head rebuild but we are doing a valve job and we need to know what is the --VALVE LASH-- or --VALVE SETTING-- very important. Please let me know ASAP.

2.4 Turbo diesel ( 2L-TE )
The head is a 3L head. -
Clearance.
Inlet 0.20 - 0.30mm
Exhaust 0.40- 0.50mm
Procedure -
With number one cylinder at top dead centre of compression stroke check clearance on -
no. 1 inlet and exhaust
no. 2 inlet
no. 3 exhaust
Turn crank one revolution and check clearance on -
no. 2 exhaust
no. 3 inlet
no. 4 inlet and exhaust
