1 click starter

hi have a bit of a prob went to start her up this morning and nothing just a click from starter motor wouldn't turn over it only clicks once tried banging it but no good is it knackered or something more serious

hi have a bit of a prob went to start her up this morning and nothing just a click from starter motor wouldn't turn over it only clicks once tried banging it but no good is it knackered or something more serious

Check that the battery is fully charged and that the clamps are tight first.
If OK, then you'll be needing a starter contacts re-furb kit. All covered in the search box.
