Recently replaced Head on LN130 Surf, running ok before head change but now missing and smoking alot also seems to be running hot. Any advice?????? Thanks Arron.

Missing and smoking sounds like timing.
Running hot - did you replace all the coolant, check for airlocks, top it up, check again, top it up etc etc. The level normally drops a bit in the weeks after major surgery. -
Was the water pump theremostat and rad cap changed ? as all 3 should have been.
Was the system burpped after as well' You've arrived on a rather special night. It's one of the master's affairs.'Comment

Hi Arron,
When refitting the head, don't forget the earth strap at the rear of head to the bulk head, (near the EGR unit). I did, and it ran crap, hope this helps.If it aint broke, keep goin' till it is.Comment
