Water leak

My 2.4 Surf has a small water leak somewhere on the front of the engine. I can't see anything, bottom radiator hose perhaps?

it may be the hose,rad or the water pump so its going to be a case of ellimination
If it's the rad then either get a new one or get yours repaired if its not to bad.If you get a new rad then i would go for the roughtrax rads rather than the milners rads

Any chance of a pic of where the leak is coming from, or maybe a more detailed description? We don't have a lot to go on at the moment.

Hi there Colin,

Just a thought , I have had two pipes , bottom hose and a front
pipe that feeds the heater leak.

they must have been the original pipes and over time and use
they have become pourus and was leaking through the pipe
it's self, bit tricky to track down .

Try to ramp it or use a high kerb to have a good look when
it is running to try to locate where it be comming from ?

Check the ovious first rad top/bottom water pump housing etc.

Water leak

Many thanks all - for some reason, the leak seems to have stopped. If it occurs again, at least I have some idea of what to look for.

As a new Surf owner, must say its an anjoyable drive
