Help - heard a noise this morning when pulling out of drive, sounded like something rubbbing or running dry. Looked under the truck and the passenger side wishbone is covered in brownish grease - looks like its from the boot above. Is this the CV joint? (sorry this is not very technical)

Just found it cheers - inner cv boot split. Rod had the same thing. Just need to find out if its easy to replace.

I think am going to stop looking under it, Just noticed I need an inner track rod end as well. It's leaking grease. £42 and counting.

Ha ha you're right there - normally have the music loud but since having the wheels fitted have had it turned off to listen for any strange noises.

But then again I wouldn't have noticed the split so soon an might have done more damage so I spose......
