Hi there.Have a small problem with ma tailgate. Managed to close it with the lock set halfway. So now I can't open or close it unless I remove panels & manually free it. The lock appears to have popped a small spring (see photo) & I'm at my wits end as to where its original home should be. The Aussie workshop manual I have doesn't give a breakdown of components, haven't been able to source a schematics on HiLux sites (so far!).
The lock button (middle of tailgate) doesn't work caus this spring retains the rod mechanism in some way, & the handle to open the tailgate is also affected the same way.
If any of you guru's have had to service the tailgate or happen to have a photo (yeah right!) of where this spring lives, it would be soooo much help.
