Newbie with problem

Hi - I'm left amazed at how you all help one another ... so before I go wastin my cash I thought I'd try my luck. My wife comes from Zambia in Sub-Saharan African and I want to see more of the continent, so I bought a 1992 SSR-G 2.4TD, triffic motor which will hopefully take me on the 9,000 miles trip next year. Anyway, the armrest/cubby box [whatever you call it] in between the front seats occasionally gets so hot you could melt chocolate in it. Has anyone any clue's? Oh, and I read the posting on front steering knocks so am going out to buy some grease and get a gun whilst I'm at it.

Its normal with the auto trucks, never put chocolate in the center consol.

You're quick, they're legal over there, nearly everyone walks around with an AK47, but who'd look after the kids......
