can u overhaul a turbo mine is leaking at the top of the pipe does anyone know if its a seal and are they easy to fit

You can get the turbo gaskets straight from Toyota and i think they are the only place you can get them.You will need to give them chasis and model numbers but they will get them for you and not to bad a price either

rich are they easy to replce them myself

I did mine on the 3l when i changed the turbo so the 2.4 should be easy enough as the turbo is set high up.
I think theres something like 6 gaskets in total for the turbo.The most awkward gasket will be the Copper Banjo gasket thats below the turbo at the back of the block.If its just the 1 pipe leaking on the top you should be ok

Is this what you need? if its for the internals of the turbo best to get the professionals to look at then cos they spin fast and if it not quite right it can get messy.
