deisel pump

i everyone you know im having trouble with my surf 2.4tdi wats happening now is crancking over great but only getting deisel up through no1 injector is my pump knackerd or wat if so any one got one how much cheers guys.

if your getting diesel to no 1 injector i would have thought you would see it try and start??

You should get a second hand pump from stormforce or supersurf, i think they go for about £100. Parts for sale section.

I am right out of 2.4 fuel pump but got some 3.0l ones now lol.

Howdy, i have a non turbo 2.4 93 and having very sim problems, check my old threads for tips.
Not sure if its the same pump, but take a look at the solenoid on the back of the pump. They get stuck! disconnect the power to the sol. (12v single wire) and while getting someone to turn it over re-connect the wire to the sol.
This gives the sol. a kick and gets it going again.

will be finding out more later from a mechanic and will fill you in on any new info if you want!?
