gasket cement or not?

well guys its nearly d-day toyota have told me my gasket for the timing belt casing has arrived. does anyone know if when fitting it i need to use a gasket cement aswell or will the gasket do the job on its own.....i'm hoping to remove the sump tomorrow and i need to know if its better to unbolt the front diff crossmember before undoing driveshafts or vice-versa...cheers.

No gasket cement needed. It's a rubber seal for keeping dirt and water out and does not need it.

Not sure about the cross member so will let someone else answer that one.
