Yeah, it dosn't matter, the last number just tells you the pinion type. 2 = 2 pinion, 4 = 4 pinion and 5 = 4 pinion with LSD.
The fronts are smaller dia ring, (7 1/2") vs 8" on the rear, but I checked a pair of the 4.8's I have here, they both have the same number of teeth on the ring gear even though the front is smaller so I don't think it matters.
