My heads gone and i was wondering if there are any markings on the newer head to distinguish it or numbers so i know im getting a newer head rather dan the older faulty ones? many thanx

i may be wrong here but i dont think there are any markings on the head to tell you its a modified one.

Thats right, some have a extra pair of coolant drillings inside the inner row of head bolts, other you can't tell unless you cut it in half.

ooo bummer, i need one on the cheap though, im only a teen, wel was ill couple months ago n im still paying back the loan in huge monthly amounts, the loan dat paid for the truck dat is!

if itsthe 2.8 stronger head, it will have extra waterways on the face.

Get supersurfs tel.no from the parts for sale section and give him a ring to see if he still has the complete head going for a good price
