Outs 10 how hard is this to do, and how long should it take a novice?

I'd guess at it being a 7 for a novice. But in reality a simple job for a pro.

No idea how long it will take, a couple of hours if you do it with the pump in place, maybe 4 or 5 if you take the pump out and change the belts etc.

It it's just the top seal it can be done with out removing the pump ,undo the four cap heads, undo sensor retaining nut, beware the sensor falling into the pump, then replace top seal and sensor seal and refit.......if it leaks elsewhere then it's a pump out job , that means cambelt out which can be a bitch on a 2.4
