hi again, could blanking the egr valve make my mota lumpy, starts ok, put it into park starts to miss and load of black smoke rev it seems ok, aint gone through ecu yet cos i thic dont no how, checked all fuel lines seems ok, hope not a major proplem about to jump out on me. ta

Have you only jus done the EGR? have you done the right pipe? i seem to remember reading about something similar happening when someone cable tied up the pipe on the similarly UFO looking thing a bit further foward in the engine bay than the EGR one.
