hi there people can anyone help??my old surf has recently i noticed been playing up where the heating is concerned.i have to be doing at least 60 for the gauge and the heat to be at its best.the slower i go the cooler the heater and the lower the gauge.time for the scrappy?

That would be a little over the top. Sounds like you need a new thermostat. 13 quid and a five minute job.
