2LTe engine rebuild

Hi i'm new to the site i have got a 1990 2.4t Auto surf which i have brought with a nakard engine i have stripped it down to find that the shell has gone on the rear piston, i have done some search's on the net but can't seem to fine any one selling the shell bearings, i also need to replace the rod as i am sure it would have streched abit the shell was warn away. any help will be much apresiated

just been to take my crank for a regrind to find it is to far gone to do, does any one no where i could get a good crank from, and if any one knows if the crank is the same in the non turbo 2L ?

You can get a complete new engine for about £600, might save you money in the long run, I just can't remember where the link is to the engine shop.

Yeah, that could be them, they do crated full engines from japan, less than 30k miles on them etc.

A bit dearer than I remember, but that was last year, and everything has gone up due to the Labour Government squandering our taxes, and having to take more and more to subsidise their incompetence.

But, it'll cost about £900.00, and you've got what amounts to a new engine, and they'll take your old one away.

If its just the bottom end thats gone, I be looking for one of the many 2L-T engines that have been discarded due to blown heads! You could probably pick up a swapped out engine for a monkey!

Help!

Finaly got my engine rebuilt with meny thanks to lord lucan and its now fitted, now have come a cross a couple of random wires, one i'm sure is the heater plugs as 2 wires leading to 1 bolt down end and the other is a single bolt down end comes from the loom heat the egr value/temp sender wires any ideas?
