hope to go to Halfords tomorrow for some TD oil and a filter, just need to know how much to buy please.

i think the four runners filter fit but i wouldn't pay that money for one from them.Go to www.milneroffroad.com and buy a filter kit and save some money

its only really as I happen to be at a loose end Sunday, and thought following its MOT Yesterday i might change the oil in celebration

If you have a kevin coopers near you try asking them they stock some bits and at a good price too.

That was interesting experience,
drained it out OK, went after the filter next,
surprisingly it unscrewed without problem, but how to get it out ?
its not going up alongside the steering gear too narrow, perhaps down in front the axle, no that's not gonna' work either,

'just how much oil do these contain anyway'

finally leaving it upright propped on the axle for Ten Minutes I noticed the helpful removable panel in the inner wheel arch, directly opposite filters location on engine block,

Three X Ten MM bolts later it comes out like the top off a jam jar,

One for the grand kids Eh!


think I've scrubbed all the oil of myself now
