  • Another what are these?

    Chaps

Been into Yeomans Toyota Peachaven, highly recomend for assistance for Surf parts. Had a bit of trouble deciding what the 2 water sensors are that I removed form these 2 places.

Can someone confirm what they are and even better a part nos?

    Cheers Steve

I think one's for the electric fan and one's for the dashboard gauge. I think the lower one is for dashboard.

doesn't that front one normally just have a blanking plug in? some people have fitted sensors for an aftermarket guage there.

The one on the side is whatever the one you can just make out round the back is not, either temperature guage sender, or electric fan switch for the backup fan in front of the radiator.

                Correct.

These are what is usually found on the auto. Auxillary gauge fitting is usually 1/8 NPT fitting which looks like what is in the pic.

89428-20100 for the Thermo Fan Switch. Aftermarket Tridon TFS115 if you can get one. The Auxillary gauge will need a matching sender if you have the gauge.

That's the Thermostat housing and water outlet for a manual. Thermo Switch at front and Temp Gauge sender on the side. Autos have extra port for a third sender.
