Suspension lift on a Hilux Pickup

Hello

Got a pickup, I need to do a mild 2'' - 3'' suspension lift.

What do I need to do it - extended shackles? longer shocks?

Advice please TIA

A friend of mine had the leaf springs sent through a rolling bendy doodah gubbin, and longer shocks. But i dont know ought about leafy's mate.

If you can convince them to stop peeing up each others backs for five minutes and help, ask over on HPOC. They know more about the pickups.

Pretty much mate!

I think longer shackles give about 1.5"

Shocks will probably again need to be longer to match. i dont wanna tell you how to suck eggs but www.hpoc.co.uk would give you your answers 100%

I've already been over to HPOC - answers are coming in - its just a smaller community than this one so answers take a little longer.

thats gonna be my next mods to come...35's with a bit more lift and perhaps regeared aswell

No doubt Supertrux can sell you everything you need in a package if you're feeling flush.

do an axle under conversion andy.it takes minimal time to undo the leafs and put them backon top of the axle.there may be an issue with the u bolt block being in the wrong place but these items are available.instant lift equal to the width of the axle casing(oh and shackles rock dude)

if i get a decent compensation payout this year then i will be going for a decent lift and make sure it's all done proper.

i think TonyN said a while back that to do both diffs inc of fitting would be about 1k so that wasn't to bad i thought....
