  • Hilux surf parts

Hi, I just got a Hilux surf 1992, it's my first 4x4 and i do not know much about them. Does anybody knows in Middlesex area (Hayes) where I can find second hand spares, I need the rear bumper corners also what's the correct air pressure for tyres (215/80R-15). Can I fit bigger wheels? Which size my car it's a narrow body one.

Thanks to all for your help
    John

    Hey John,

Just replaced the chrome rear bumper end caps on my 1990 2.4TD, got mine new from "Milner Conversions" they were about £68 each which sounds alot but they are genuin toyota parts so hopefully should last....

I will pass on the tyre pressure.

Rumour has it that a good tyre pressure is around 30 / 33 psi.... it's what a lot of others here seem to use - me included

Mine is narrow body and have 31 x 10.5 x 15 on it. These are the biggest diameter you'll fit without a lift. You could go wider but you will need wider arches as they will stick out beyond the body.
Run mine at 33psi any thing above was a bit harsh and 30psi below the tyres squeal like mad.
Say not always what you know, but always know what you say.
