I need some information on what type of unit I should be installing to serve as a block heater. Two attempts to install a "frost plug" block heater have met with failure as there is a cylinder wall behind, and it will not fit. Any suggestions or alternate methods of preheating the engine for the -22 F temperatures we get here in Alberta would be appreciated! Help needed fast!

Engine heater.
Kenlow Thermostart, it hooks up to the heater pipework and is great.
There is one used by the fire brigade, ambulances, military and it was made by I think Bradex or similar.
Just cut 2 inches out of lower radiator hose and install, but the first one was better as it also heated the cab as well as it had a small circ pump built in.
Hope this helps
Regards.
Mike
