2l engine swap

busy doing an engine swap and i am fittng an efi to an efi, but all ancillaries are different. Will it work? One engine is the same as my surf 2.4 but this one has different oil filter posistion, turbo posistion, intake, brackets and sensors,,,help please

Whats the new Engine out of ?

it says it is a 2L on block. Dont know what it is out off, owner suplied it. It looks older? The turbo points down and so does the oil filter

Sounds like a 2L non turbo engine. Oil filter pointing down suggests it might be from a solid axle. What do you mean by turbo pointing down?

the turbo is bolts under the manifold instead of ontop

had to swop everything over, seems to be ok? Going to have change sump next fri when i get time to continue

its a right git, lol. But just got to change sump and stick it back in. Not bad going for about 8 hrs graft, lol
