Fuel rich....?

Hi, My 93 2.4 seems loaded with fuel on start up , and pulling away from junctions etc, I have had mentioned throttle position sensor ? any help gratefully recieved..............Webbo

Do you mean lots of black smoke? Usually a blocked / dirty air filter.
