turbo on 2.4

hi all,

i have a 1990 2.4td surf and she doesnt seem to be pulling as well as in im losing boost. the turbo does seem to be making a whinning sound i was wondering if maybe one of the hoses is leaking air.

has anyone had this?

if not can anyone recomend somwhere/someone who has good experience with them as im not to techincally minded. im in essex so the nearer the better i guess.

Check the short rubber pipe, circled in green in the photo is connected. It can sometimes get oil on it, swell, and be easily knocked off, resulting inloss of boost pressure.
