where to buy parts for service ? ? ?

i am planning on changing fuel and oil filters aswell as cam belt ect
WHERE's the best place for these kind of bits
also how can i find out what engine i have exactly ! its a j reg 2.4 turbo ! but i dont know exactly ! all help appreciated !

do believe the engine is called a kzn 130

either milners or roughtrax for service items,roughtrax are better quality,but more expensive.

with either company though,they will know what your surf categorisation is

I have 2.4 on J plate - LN130

Look at pics here - http://toyotasurf.asn.au/techsite/ they show engine bay to help ID. If it's the one marked as SURF 2.4LTD it's the same as mine.

Get my parts from roughtrax, never had any problem so far.

Roughtrax will be fine for the service items (filters and drive belts) but I'd get the timing belt from Toyota, IIRC it's only about £25.

you know better than that mate, kzn 130 is the 3.0 2nd gen chassis/model no.


LN130 is the 2nd gen 2.4 chassis/model no.
2L-TE is the engine that's fitted in it.

at least you got the suppliers right though, but no links

i $$$$$$ love having a 4x4 ! especialy given the fact my house is half a mile off the maiin road down a little track !

does anyone know of a good place to take my surf for a service ! it may prove wise given the spurious engine facts !
i'm just outside honiton in DEVoN !
all and any help is appreciated ! ! i'm new to all this ! just bought me surf last week ! !!! richard

hiya Rich.what engine is it.a 2.4 or 3l
has it got a drop down tail gate

the 2.4 is LN130
the 3L is a KZN130
both 2nd gens

the KZN185 is the turd gen or hairdressers wagon with all tha plastic and lift up tailgaite and 3l

If you look on the vin plate, which will be on the bulkhead/firewall, on the drivers side, the cobes will start LN130, coz you have the 2.4TD (2LTE)
