2.4 overheating

help my 92 2.4 keeps overheating i have changed rad cap twice and thero twice and flushed three times,still boils in the expansion tank and pressure in top hose,and the water in the rad looks cloudy.
if it the cracked head could any one give me some contact details where to get it fixed and a rough price.

Best thing to do m8, is sell it and get ur self a 3 litre. I had my head done a year ago and something else has gone in my engine now. So im gonna get a 3 and keep my 2.4 for spares.

You could get stevo to send you a head, and get a local garage to do the job, thats what I did, it'll save you some £££ on transport.

Id agree with that but you need to be very sure that youre getting someone of quality to do it. Theres plenty of garages out there who will be incapable of getting it right.

Take it to TonyN, he is located in Basingstoke so only about 30 minutes from you. He is a member on the forum so am sure he will reply to you in this thread. His web site is www.4x4toys.co.uk He did mine and not had any trouble since. He will check the head before he gets a new one as this could be a costly mistake. He also gets the modified heads from steveo. I know how you feel I spent 6 months convincing myself that it was probably just another dodgy thermostat. If you top the water right up and take it easy you should mange to get it down to him
