  • Help on power

Due to the cold weather my existing battery has given up the ghost completely. Does anyone have any advice on what batteries are best suited to my truck. I have recently put a 6 spot light pod on the roof of my surf with the existing 2 on the bull bar, plus 2 reversing spots on the rear spoiler. i need something that can run them and crank it over in any weather condition. I will think about duel batteries eventually when i put a winch on but I just need something that will cope with the lovely snow im getting up here at the moment.
Completely bitten by the off road bug, and what better vehicle to do it in!

Any good battery should do. If you lights are wired up properly, they should turn off when you start the engine.

Consider a genuine toyota battery, I don't remember hearing anything bad about them and i think you might be pleasantly surprised at the price compared to say a halfords battery.
