Right. My surfs nearly ready for the road. Brand new heads on. Just need to bleed cooling system. HOWEVER: When engine is very cold i.e left for 24 hours it does not want to start. Ive primed the pump when i finished the head, and I know the timings bang on its mark cause i did it myself. If I spray a dot of easy start in the air filter-turbo hose it fires straight up and runs and idles fine. then its ok for the rest of the day??? ANY IDEAS

check if the diesel heater plugs are working.

When the vehicle starts from cold, the ecu should richen the mixture via the fuel pump, if the glow plugs are working, then it could be that the air/fuel ratio is wrong on cold start.
