  • hard soft suspension setting

Can anyone tell when I should be using the hard suspension and when to be using the soft/normal suspension? Are there any advantages of one over the other? confort? MPG? etc

Personal choice really. Many of us have upgraded the shocks to ProComps that aren't adjustable and generally give a ride quality similar to the hard setting.

I used to set Hard for motorway running, and Soft everywhere else.

When I'm in the mountains with my girlfriend I usually set it on hard!
She likes it that way too.

Its actually Normal/Hard, there is no 'soft' setting. If you need to have it switched to hard even when the truck is unloaded, then you probably need new shocks.
