cable tie the little rubber pipe about 2" long with the little filter thingy on it

i suppose you can do the pipe if you wanted as it should do the same thing,or you can just take the egr off completely but i dont know what needs to be done for that tho

If the EGR valve is stuck open yes. Don't forget to block off the lower hose on the butterfly mechanism as well.
