Tow bar wiring

Heyguys...justb wondering the easyest way to wire in my tow bar lights etc,, do i have to take the completes panels of inside the back of my truck? as i cant seam to find the loom anywhere,, thansk in advance for any help hilux surf by the way 3

from memory, i think i just took off the rear light clusters, and seem to remember just prising the back panels open a little to do my stuff!!

You can do from the rear lights, but I prefer to do it inside the car behind the rear panels for 'waterproofedness' of the connectors!!

So yes, you have to pull the rear panels out a little. But you don't have to take the completely out.

awesome ,, thanks Tony and Slim ,, any chance you can tell me what coulour wires are for what? that would be a great help thanks man,,, i feel a little lazy asking my fellow poms for something i could do witha meter but hey its eqasyier to ask aye thanlks guys

Not from memory i dont, assuming that your wires will be the same coulors as mine i will have a look tonight if i get in early enough from work..

Earth (vehicle chassis)
Left hand indicator (black & green wire)
Right hand indicator (yellow & green wire)
Left hand tail lamp (green wire)
Right hand tail lamp (green wire)
Brake Light (white & green wire)
Rear fog light
