Rotten diff pan

Is there any were I can buy a new dif pan to weld in place of my old rotten one?
Toyota says I need to buy a new axle!! I would rather try and get a new weld able pan rather than bodge my old one????
Any help would be much appreciated

just cut a round plate and stich it over the old diff pan.alternatively there is some diff armour on the market.
