    Whats the reccomended fluid for the steering?, mines empty haveing removed it, thought it may be trans fluid, think thats wot i used when i did the yank,
    Also is it the same to bleed it through? jack up run engine and rotate wheel from lock to lock, recheck etc ta very much,
    Too young to die and too old to give a toss

    It's the same fluid you put in the transmission. DextronIII

        To bleed the system, jack up the front so the wheels are off the ground, engine OFF and turn steering to full lock both ways a few times, return to centre position.
        Check level and top up if needed.
        Then repeat with engine running at fast idle, turning steering to full lock both ways, return steering wheel to centre position and check level.
        Switch engine off and re-check level. It should rise no more than 5mm .
